Mattawamkeag and Lincoln - William "Will" Alexander Frake was born in Lewiston, Maine, on February 26, of 2007. He was the third child of Jason H. Frake and Amie E. Frake.
He is survived by a large family who will carry on his name including his two brothers, J. Harland Frake II, and Ryleigh Cain Frake, his girlfriend, Vanessa Albee, all of Mattawamkeag; Jason's girlfriend, Terri Shorey, and her three children; Will's great-grandmother, Joan McNally Frake of Winthrop; and Will's grandparents, Janet L. Frake and John H. Frake (deceased), Leigh and Cheryl Wilkinson, all of Winthrop. Will's family included his aunt, Jacqui R. Frake; and his cousins, Emma Draper, Levi Draper and Leah Maxim of Winthrop; his uncle, John Frake; his uncle, James Frake and his wife, Jessica Frake; cousins, Elijah Frake and Lauren Frake, also of Winthrop; Will's uncle and aunt, Sean and Megan Wilkinson; along with his cousin, Percival of Portland. Will also had his uncle, Leigh Wilkinson his wife, Theo; and his cousin, Benjamin. William was predeceased by a large number of relatives on both sides.
William enjoyed the outdoors all of his life. He spent most of his days as a child fishing, swimming, camping and playing in the woods. He always caught the most fish he always caught the biggest fish and was the best at everything he put his mind to. He loved his video games, and being online with his brothers, cousins, and friends. Will always loved to cook and lived his last few months in that dream, while cooking for Crossroads. He greatly admired his older brothers, and often slipped into their bedrooms to relax and chill. Will had a special bond with his mother and they often could speak to each other without words. Will was his father's best friend and always the one who wanted to do what dad was doing. Will loved concert's and the excitement of the stage as much as his dad.
Will loved to blast his music and drown out the silence, Will enjoyed ATVs, dirt bikes, and driving his vehicles most of all. He drove like he lived. Will was a fearless spirit and a confident young man. William could adapt to any situation and make the best out of anything placed before him. Will always put other people's pain and suffering before his own. He always checked on the people he loved. William made friends with most but could never stand anyone who hurt his friends or family. He was a brave and considerate soul. If his family could say one last thing to him, it would be to let him know that we are so proud of the person he was. If future generations of our namesake could be known for the qualities that he lived for, our legacy would be the envy of the world. He truly was everything this family was built upon and everything it stands for.
Jesus called William home on September 22, 2023. Although we may never be the same, we truly cherished every moment we had with him. We all love him so much.
On Saturday, September 30, we will lay him to rest after a public service at the Mattawamkeag Church of God, 284 Main St., Mattawamkeag, at 3 p.m. There will be a graveside service and immediately following a celebration of life at Will's restaurant Crossroads BNB located at 264 Main St., Mattawamkeag.
