    McKinney, Dora F., 89, Todd, passed away Monday October 2, 2023, at Penn Highlands Hospital, Huntingdon. Born May 4, 1934, Mount Union, daughter of the late Charles A. and Anna E. (Conway) Wakefield. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. McKinney, who passed on November 17, 2012. Also preceding in death are a granddaughter, Angela Hamman; 3 sisters, Cathrine “Betty” Woods, Phyllis D. Daros, and Kathy E. Wakefield; and 3 brothers, George P. Wakefield, Russell A. Wakefield and Richard C. Wakefield. Survived by her daughters, Lisa Kay Rohrer and husband William, Todd; and Michele Ann Grove and husband Jeffrey, Todd; stepchildren, Vicki Hamman, Three Springs; Kathy Pecht and husband Scott, Belleville; and Duane McKinney and wife Joanie, Mill Creek; 12 grandchildren, Jason Grove, David Grove, Richard Rohrer, Ashley Floto, Emily Rohrer, Jeremy Hamman, Alicia Heister, Matthew Carolus, Heather Hostetler, Michila Fisher, Alicia McKinney and Tyler McKinney; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores W. Long, Terry L. Thompson, and Patricia “Pat” Reck and husband, Dave; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dora enjoyed playing BINGO at the Mill Creek Firehall on Sundays. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Family and friends will be received on Saturday October 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Pastor Joseph Myers, officiant. Interment to follow at Mapleton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN, 38105. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care.
