It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley ‘Brad’ Ross Kitchen on September 4th, 2023 at the young age of 61.

Brad is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving children Jordan, Joshua, Kyra (Liam) and Kyle, siblings Brenda (John) Kim (Ray), Jim (Libby), Linda (Morris). Brad will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends, including a support network that was always in his corner.

Brad is predeceased by his parents Ross and Ina, sister Rosalyn.

Brad was born on July 27th, 1962, to his parents Ross and Ina Kitchen in Burlington, Ontario. Brad’s early years were spent with his siblings at home on Lakeshore Road, at his dad’s company, Midway Lumber or with his best friend Rob (Beave) Eickmeier.

In Brad’s teens he attended Lord Elgin High School where he became friends with Todd Luzzi. Making Brad, Beave and Todd lifelong friends.

As a part time job, Brad changed tires for years at the Line’s Canadian Tire on Guelph Line in Burlington eventually becoming the Sports Department Manager. There he met his first wife, Sue Fleming. Brad and Sue had two beautiful boys Jordan and Josh.

Brad followed in his parent’s footsteps and wanted to be an entrepreneur. He was a natural salesman and became a successful realtor working for Todd Real Estate, Remax Roseland and Sutton Group About Town.

This is where Brad met his second wife Judy VanLierop. Brad and Judy also had two wonderful children Kyra and Kyle.

Brad’s career took a turn and he got into the Quality Assurance industry working at AQSR for several years. He had a very successful career in sales leading to management positions. Brad was passionate about his work ultimately starting his own certification business.

Brad’s other loves were Six Mile Lake and dogs. He spent many a summer at the lake at the Burridge’s cottage, with Debbie and Cheryl. This is the place where Brad was at peace. He loved the lake, boating, all his toys and of course all the dogs running around.

Brad had a wonderful way with people and everyone who met Brad couldn’t help but notice his kind and gentle heart. While Brad left us far too soon, all of us who loved Brad hope that he is at peace.
