Kenneth Richard Ballor, 92, of Bay City, our outgoing and devoted husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend was born into eternal life on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region.

Ken was born in Kawkawlin on March 10, 1931, the son of the late Harvey and Irene (Jacobs) Ballor. He was a 1949 graduate of T.L. Handy High School. While at a PWP (Parents Without Partners) meeting, he happened to meet the former Rosemary (Rajewski) Elwell. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on August 11, 1984. Ken taught residential construction for many years at Kent Career Technical Center in Grand Rapids, building a new house with his students every year. He was a skilled and well respected builder. Prior, he worked at RWC for 32 years. In his free time, Ken enjoyed photography, playing all sorts of card games; especially Pinochle and Euchre, time spent with family and friends, and in his younger years, dancing. He was a parishioner of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish. Ken will forever be remembered for his love of people and his family. His memory will forever live on.

To carry on his legacy, Ken leaves his beloved wife, Rosemary; children, Barbara (Mark) Bruessow, Cathy (Chris) Knapp, Brenda Micho, Jeanette (Tom) Badour, and Michael (Michelle) Elwell; grandchildren, Preston (Katie) Bruessow, Jennifer (Daniel) Flemming, Scott (Katie) Bruessow, Kelly (Cameron) Leist, April Gugin, Jason Ballor, Tyler Ballor, Perry Ballor, Ryan (Nicole) Micho, Alyse (Steven) Yax, Alexis Micho, Aaron Badour, Jordan (Damian) Olson, Madison (Tanner) Nederveld, Hannah Elwell, and Jacob Elwell; twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Deal; sisters-in-law, Sr. Lorraine Rajewski, OP, Nancy Rajewski, Elaine Golsch, and Linda (Larry) Castillo; brother-in-law, Thomas Rajewski, along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
