Steven Babici, 33, passed away on October 4th, 2023. He was born on June 19th, 1990 in Manhattan, New York. Steve spent most of his life in New Jersey before moving to South Florida. He was the older son of two boys of Katalin (Kovacs) and Cornel Babici.

Steven spent a lot of time reminiscing over memories with his younger brother, David Babici. When he was younger, during the summers, he would visit Europe. He was proud of his Hungarian and Romanian background. He had a passion and talent for hockey, and the drums, but also enjoyed playing baseball. A true history buff, and eager to learn.

Steven was an alumni of Valley Forge Military School in Wayne, Pennsylvania, class of 2008. He played the drums in the marching band, and in his 4th year he was Captain.

Steven went on to start a life in south Florida. He often made friends wherever he went, and was not shy to give you the shirt off his back. Years later he met his wife, Heather Lowin, and was the proud father of a perfect little boy; Hudson Rhett Babici.

He loved lifting weights, fast cars, and animals. Steven had a true entrepreneur mentality and wasn’t afraid to set off on new business adventures. He started several construction companies, and developed a passion for working on commercial and residential property.

Steven will be deeply missed by his wife Heather Lowin, and son Hudson Rhett, his younger brother David Babici, and parents Katalin and Cornel Babici, his grandmothers Ilona Morvay, and Doina Babici, sister in law Danielle Lowin, and mother in law Dene Lowin, as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins, and Godparents.

At the family's request, please wear your best cowboy boots to the funeral services in honor of Steven.
