Our dear beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin has sadly left us. Christopher was born on May 10th, 1968 in Mississauga, Ontario and peacefully travelled on from this world on October 3rd, 2023.

Christopher is the beloved son of Joanne Miller and Nickolas Fowlie, eldest brother to Nicole Fowlie and Michael Miller and cherished stepson to Tina Zielinski. Christopher is pre-deceased by his Grandmothers, Theresa Rosart and Lorraine Watt as well as his stepmother Kelly Fowlie.

As a child, Chris loved horses and trucks (sometimes mistakenly replacing the « Tr » with an « F » sound) much to the amusement of his family.

As a young man, Chris joined the Militia and eagerly and proudly travelled overseas for training for an exciting life experience. He was full of energy and had an adventurous spirit which his service suited him well.

Music was a passion he cherished. He rocked on the acoustic guitar, shared good times with his talent and had the patience to teach others a few songs.

Let us not forget one of his other many talents and passion - BREAK DANCING! Chris would be down with the head-spin, top rock, back spin and the freeze. He would travel in the neighborhood with his "posse" of other passionate dancers with his roll of linoleum and ghetto blaster. (Thanks to his late grandfather for the endless supply of a travelling dance floor!)

He was generous and always a bit shy. His classic half-grin made its appearance often while making quiet jokes at family dinners, playing Euchre or lending a helping hand. He always had a way to make us smile...his witty personality was quintessential and will never be forgotten. He had no hesitation on holding back if he felt something should be said regardless of his bashfulness.

Aside from his adventurous nature, Chris loved to camp, hike, hunt, fish and was a great target shooter. He truly enjoyed this time with family and hunting with his step-uncle Ed Zielinski. We spent many summers as a family enjoying the beauty of nature.

Christopher leaves behind an extended family who cherish these wonderful memories of him.
His stepmother Tina Zielinski, nieces Chantelle Fowlie and Alexandra Morais, his Aunt Roseann Fowlie, his cousin Nathalie Bouchard and little cousin Magnus Bouchard. We love you Chris.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467. His loved ones will celebrate Chris’s life at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, Ontario. Date to be confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local food bank (cards available at the funeral home).
