Joyce Neal (86) of Demossville, KY passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Bridge Point Center in Florence, KY. Joyce was born in Pendleton County, KY on August 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Elmon and Nellie Donnley LaFollette.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Hayden Neal, daughter Debbie Shoemaker, son Donald Ray Neal, sister Helen LaFollette, brother Ralph LaFollette
Joyce was a Grassy Creek Christian Church member and a lifelong Pendleton County farmer. Survivors include her daughter Karen Neal, son Roger Neal, brother Lester LaFollette and grandchildren Erik, Merideth, Kenton Shoemaker.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. also at the funeral home. Joyce’s final resting place will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to Grassy Creek Christian Church. Condolences can be submitted online at www.peoplesfuneralhomes.com.
