Gail Marie Miller, 70, of Bay City, our loving, caring, generous, courageous sister and aunt was born into eternal life on the morning of Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Bay County Medical Care Facility.

Gail was born in Bay City on August 8, 1953, the daughter of the late Gerald and Lorraine “Sue” (Wisniewski) Miller. She was a 1971 graduate of Bay City Central High School and briefly worked at General Motors. Gail enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially taking in the serene settings at Tawas, Caseville and the Bay City State Park. She delighted in spending time outdoors, enjoying cookouts, her sister’s flower garden and sitting by the fishpond at the Bay County Care Facility. She always looked forward to the holidays and time spent with family and friends. More recently, she took delight in spa days and being pampered by the staff. Gail’s kind ways will forever live on.

Gail is survived by her siblings, Cheryl (Paul) Scott, Howard (Jean) Miller, Lynn (Steven) Housley, and John (Patty) Miller; nephews, Justin Stone and Grant (Leeann) Miller and their daughter, Felicity; and niece, Blair (Steven) Eleazer. In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by special aunt, Bernice Purdum, and special friend, Richard Lanzinger.

Gail’s family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, November 18, from 8:30 AM until Gail’s 10:30 AM Memorial Ceremony at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center. Fr. James Wm. Bessert will officiate with Rite of Committal to follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. The entire family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Bay County Medical Care Facility and McLaren Hospice for their compassionate care. Memorial contributions may be directed to United Way of Bay County – Mental Health Treatment and Support.
