Meagan Anne Lyn Griffith (28) of Alexandria, KY passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Meagan was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on December 2, 1994. She is the daughter of Monica and Joe Sturdivant.

Meagan is preceded in death by her grandparents Pam and Darryl Griffith Sr., Lucille Sturdivant, and great-grandmother Viola Monohon.

Meagan had a love for people along with a big personality and a bright light that many were lucky to enjoy. She was a Customer Service Representative for ProScan Imaging. She was the owner of Candles by Meagan, a regular vendor of the Ft. Thomas Farmers Market. Meagan was a member of the Fairlane Baptist Church, and at the age of 18 she decided to become an organ donor. In addition to her parents, survivors include her grandfather Bob Sturdivant, sisters Shelby (Jared) New, and Autumn Sturdivant, and aunt Molly Griffith.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, at the Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. also at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial at Independence Cemetery at a later date, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
