In Loving Memory of Perry Danel Montpetit

Perry Danel Montpetit, a soul full of warmth and compassion, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2023, at the age of 65, in Hudson, Wisconsin. Born on November 1, 1957, to Thomas and Norma Montpetit in Stillwater, Minnesota, Perry’s life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to family, friends, and faith.

Perry attended Stillwater Area High School, where he played on the state championship football team. He achieved both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, setting the stage for a remarkable career at Andersen Corporation until his well-deserved retirement.

A devout Christian, Perry was selfless and humble, offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Perry’s remarkable talents and determination touched countless lives, leaving a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Among his many passions, Perry found solace and joy in deep-sea fishing, fishing trips with friends, and fishing the St. Croix River. He enjoyed leisurely motorcycle rides, the thrill of sailing, the exhilaration of snowboarding down mountains, the delight of wine tastings, and the wonder of exploring new destinations.

Perry is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; devoted children, Megan (Adam) Smith and Jared Montpetit; and four cherished grandchildren, Roland, Aveline, Bethany, and Sam. His memory is further cherished by his mother, Norma Montpetit; his caring siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Trostle, Renee Montpetit, and Marc (Patty) Montpetit; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Jordan Montpetit, and his father, Thomas Montpetit.

A memorial service celebrating Perry’s life will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Rd., Hudson, WI 54016. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to the family, which will be contributed to the Jordan Montpetit Memorial Scholarship, a cause dear to Perry’s heart.

The Montpetit family extends their deepest gratitude for your support during this difficult time. Perry’s legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his life’s journey.

Funeral services entrusted to O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.
