A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Pastor Zack Mitchell, Sr. will officiate the memorial service.

Shawn was born on February 10, 1982, in Lafayette. He honorably served his country in the United States Army, stationed in California. A man of strength and resilience, he dedicated himself to the ideals of duty, honor, and loyalty. Even in the face of adversity, Shawn's unwavering commitment to his duty was remarkable.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Shawn always enjoyed coming home to visit his family and of course, eat good Cajun cooking. Fulfilling his adventurous spirit, Shawn had a deep-seated love for travel and the great outdoors. He found peace in the vastness of the ocean and the serenity it brought to his soul. Whether exploring majestic landscapes or simply gazing at the horizon, Shawn's connection to nature was truly profound.

Despite his quiet demeanor, Shawn possessed a unique wit that could illuminate any room. His subtle humor and quick thinking could bring smiles to faces and ignite laughter in an instant. He had an innate ability to uplift others with his lightheartedness and bring joy to those fortunate enough to be in his presence.

Shawn is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Dupuis; his father Saide Emamjomeh; his dear brother, Joshua Berrios; fiancee, Cindy Lopez; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Together, they have shared countless memories and have been a source of unwavering support and love for one another.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Emamjomeh; maternal grandparents, Essie and Eula Mae Olivier Dupuis; and aunt, Wanda Dupuis. He lived simply, loved deeply, always kind, truly caring and loved. He will forever be missed.
