Frances Rose Foster- Brasseaux was born March 13, 1944 in Pollock, LA and passed away on October 5, 2023 in Risor, AR at the age of 79. Services will be held at 1pm on October 13, 2023 at Magnolia Funeral Home on Masonic Drive in Alexandria with Brother Lloyd Whitman officiating. Visitation will be from 10am-1pm at the Magnolia Funeral Home chapel. She will be laid to rest at Liberty Chapel Cemetery.

She will always be remembered as someone who had a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor to go with her infections laugh. Above all else, she loved her family dearly and will be missed by all. As we mourn the emptiness we feel without her here, we take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place, walking the streets of gold in Heaven with our Lord. We know she is no longer in pain and that she is back to dancing the jitterbug or listening to Elvis while sipping on sweet tea. Or possibly even “driving it like you stole it” on those streets of gold in her Thunderbird, and those are the ways we will remember her, vivacious and forever young at heart.

It was once quoted “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure….” (author unknown) and we will forever treasure each and every memory we have with Me-Maw.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her siblings Minnie Roberts, Helen Foster, Kenneth Foster, Joyce Pamplin and Frank Foster, her daughters Debbie Tejedor, Micki Bartlett (Chris) and Tammie Baxley, her grandchildren Debra Boyer (Larry), Tamera Tullos (Jayce), Nina Wagner, Philip Beebe, Aden Bartlett and Liam Bartlett. And a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother LG and Joy Foster, siblings James Foster Sr., LC Foster, Lilly May Grey, Judy Legg, Margie Bennett and Glory Dale.
