Martin Glenn Peterson, age 75, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on October 2, 2023. He was born to Raymond and Dorothy Peterson and brought into this world on January 21, 1948.

Throughout his life, Martin was a dedicated mechanic and auto body technician. His skilled hands and meticulous workmanship were well-known in the community, earning him the respect and admiration of those he served. His passion for fixing cars was more than just a profession; it was a labor of love.

In his free time, Martin found solace in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding joy in the serenity of nature and the thrill of the hunt. His love for the wilderness was only surpassed by his love for his family. Martin cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, and his family was truly the center of his world.

One of Martin’s greatest joys was supporting his grandchildren at their sporting events. Whether it was on the volleyball or basketball court, or the school track, he was their biggest fan, cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. His presence in their lives was a source of inspiration and encouragement.

Martin had a natural talent for working with his hands, whether it was in his garden, tinkering with machinery, or building things from scratch. He was a creative and resourceful individual who could tackle any project with skill and determination.

One of the crowning achievements of Martin’s life was his homestead in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. He purchased five acres of land and transformed it into a haven of peace and tranquility. It was a testament to his hard work and determination, where he found great joy in driving ATVs, feeding the deer, and observing the wild bear cubs as they grew and thrived.

Above all, Martin was known for his friendly and helpful nature. He was the kind of person who would extend a helping hand to anyone in need. His warm smile and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Martin Glenn Peterson is survived by his children: Aaron Peterson, Molly (Ray) Schneider, Matt Anderson, Mindi Marshall, Lonny Nelson, and Randy (Holly) Clemons; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Dale (Janice) Peterson, Shirley (Danny) Johnson, Alvin Peterson and Ricky Peterson; brothers-in-law: Mike Volkman, and Glen Able, and sister-in-law: Bonnie Peterson, and many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
