Marvin W. Loock, age 76, of Baldwin, WI, died peacefully on October 8, 2023 at his home.

He was born on October 25, 1946 in Amery, WI to William and Esther (Jeske) Loock. He grew up in Baldwin, WI and graduated from Baldwin High School, the class of 1965. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army Reserves and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge.

On May 10, 1969 he was united in marriage to Kay Reinhardt and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Shelley and Kristi. Their marriage would later dissolve in 1982.

Marvin began his career at Whirlpool as a foreman, and later transitioned to driving semis, a career he loved doing for many years until his retirement, and even continued to do after. He enjoyed living on his farm, and especially loved caring for Clydesdale horses. He enjoyed parades, riding Harley Davison motorcycles, and camping.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristi (Craig) Ausrud and Shelley Borgeson; grandchildren: Hannah (Blake) LeBlanc, Alec Borgeson, Addyson Ausrud, McKinley Ausrud, and Peyton Ausrud; sisters, Ethelyn “Lynn” (Max) Ihrke and Maryann (Dick) Durban; and ten nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Esther (Jeske) Loock; and brothers, Wayne (Delores) and George (Joanne).

Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin, with a Funeral Service and Military Honors to follow at 12:00p.m. at the funeral home. Casketbearers will be: Alec Borgeson, Peyton Ausrud, Joel Ihrke, Greg Loock, Craig Ausrud, Jon Ihrke, Rick Loock, and Jared Durban. Interment at Baldwin Cemetery.
